By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website and its services.
About these terms
These terms govern your access to Brightpath Recruitment, including job search, accounts, applications, CV submission, alerts, articles and contact services. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, and our cookie policy explains our use of cookies.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or submit personal information. If local law requires a higher age for a particular service, that higher age applies.
Accounts and security
You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may ask you to verify information, reset credentials or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect you, other users or the website.
Recruitment services
We provide tools and recruitment support designed to connect job seekers and employers. Registering, applying or sending a CV does not create an employment relationship with Brightpath Recruitment and does not guarantee an interview, job offer, placement or response.
Any employment or engagement is subject to the employer’s own checks, terms and decisions. You should review role details and contractual documents carefully before accepting work.
Applications and CVs
You confirm that information in your profile, CV and applications is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it. Do not upload unlawful, misleading, malicious or third-party confidential material.
Job adverts may be amended, withdrawn or closed early. Salary, location, benefits and other details are supplied for guidance and should be confirmed with the employer during the recruitment process.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or to harass another person;
- attempt to bypass security, access another user’s account or introduce malware;
- scrape, copy or harvest website data at scale without written permission;
- submit false job adverts, impersonate another person or misrepresent qualifications;
- interfere with the website’s operation or overload its infrastructure.
Website content and intellectual property
Website materials are provided for general information and recruitment use. Unless stated otherwise, the website design, branding and original content belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal job-search or internal business use, but may not commercially reproduce or redistribute them without permission.
If you submit content, you retain ownership but grant us permission to store, process and share it as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, suspend or withdraw features for maintenance, security or business reasons.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses arising from personal use. External websites are controlled by their operators and we are not responsible for their content.
Ending or restricting use
You may stop using the website at any time. We may restrict or close an account where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, where required by law, or where necessary to protect the service or its users. Relevant legal and record-keeping obligations may continue after account closure.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our services or the law. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. English law governs these terms, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere in the UK.
